About REACT

REACT was a multi-site randomised controlled trial which evaluated a physical activity programme.

REACT recruited 777 independently-living adults aged 65 or over at risk of major mobility-related disability. For more information about the REACT target group click here.

REACT delivered and evaluated a 12-month physical activity and social education programme designed to improve long-term functional ability in older adults who are already having some difficulties with mobility.
