  • REACT is a multi-site randomised controlled trial evaluating a physical activity programme.

  • REACT will recruit 768 independently-living adults aged 65 or over at risk of major mobility-related disability. For more information about the REACT target group click here.  

  • REACT will deliver and evaluate a 12-month physical activity and social education programme designed to improve long-term functional ability in older adults who are already having some difficulties with mobility.
